Ted Fick: Seattle-Area Resident and Senior Executive

Ted Fick is a longtime resident and business executive of the Greater Seattle area – having spent his childhood, college years and large portions of his career in the region. A student-athlete (football, track and tennis) and 1977 graduate of Curtis High School, Fick received his undergraduate education and degree (BA, Economics) at the University of Washington; and his MBA at the University of Puget Sound.

Fick left the firm in 2000, and after more than 13 years holding leadership positions for such out-of-state firms as Hino Diesel Trucks, Goodyear, Ingersoll Rand and Polar Corporation, Fick returned to the Seattle area in 2014 to serve as CEO of the Port of Seattle.

Fick served as chief executive at the Port of Seattle until 2017, and would later serve in the roles at Norca Engineered Products and Executive Chairman of National Truck Protection.
